Late 19th Century Ruby and Diamond Silver on Gold Bracelet

Late 19th century silver-topped gold, ruby and diamond bracelet, the straightline accented at the center with a florette set in the center with an oval ruby weighing approximately 1.60 carats, further set with numerous old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 10.00 carats, gross weight 17.8 grams, length 6 1/2 inches, width 3/4 inch. Such a lovely antique piece featuring a vivid red ruby accented by old cut diamonds. The bracelet is mounting in silver-topped gold with oxidation on the silver adding dark borders around all the stones. This technique was common in this time period and gold was used on the back so the oxidation wouldn't rub off on the skin. A beautiful bracelet to be worn alone or with stacks of other bracelets.
